Further Rare Earths Discovery at EMU's Merredin Project WA
The discovery of clay hosted REE at our Merredin Project was achieved through the culmination of excellent exploration work by our geology team. Using exploration data overlain with open source geophysics information our team set out to identify possible sources of clay hosted REE in granite lithology settings over open ground in WA. Merredin Project applications over 88.2 km2 were made on the basis of historic GSWA sampling and an interesting structural fault package. The rock samples are highly anomalous and encouragingly are represented by a desirable, high ratio of magnetic rare earth elements. Merredin is the 4th discovery of clay hosted REE reported this year by EMU highlighting the depth and experience of our talented geology team. Whilst our projects are in early stages, EMU is fast becoming recognised as one of Australia's most successful REE exploration companies.
