EXPERIENCED MINING PROFESSIONAL TO DRIVE
EMU NL PROJECTS
Highlights:
Adrian Griffin, an experienced mining executive, has been engaged
to advance EMU’s copper and gold prospects.
He brings to EMU extensive experience in precious and base-metal
exploration and development.
He will start immediately, in order to maximise the benefits of the
weather-constrained field season at EMU's Georgetown project in
northern Queensland.
A review of development options for the prospective Badja gold
project in Western Australia is also underway.
EMU NL ('EMU' or 'the Company') has engaged Adrian Griffin, a seasoned mining
professional, to manage the Company’s exploration portfolio. With more than 40 years'
involvement in the industry, Adrian's experience includes copper and gold exploration
and the development and operation of vertically integrated precious and base-metal
processing and refining facilities. He has led campaigns on every continent, including
Antarctica, and is a great advocate of the mineral industry’s involvement in the greenenergy sector.
The EMU board is pleased to welcome Adrian to the team as we advance our copper and
gold projects.
Regarding his decision to join the EMU team, Adrian commented.
“At present, global exploration markets are focusing mainly on two commodities: copper
and gold. Emu has both.
The gold fundamentals are obvious, and it’s safe-haven status will maintain price
buoyancy, providing leverage for EMU’s Badja gold project in Western Australia.
The energy renaissance is driving copper demand. EMU’s Georgetown project in
Queensland, albeit at an early stage, shows all the hallmarks of a significant discovery.

Successful exploration will put EMU on the map as a significant participant in Australia’s
copper industry.
So, what do I like about EMU? The right commodities at the right time; plenty of
prospectivity; the opportunity to achieve value from the existing portfolio, and the
probability of adding to that portfolio. It's a great opportunity.”
EMU non-executive chairman Peter Thomas commented further.
“We're at a critical stage in the Company’s development. By utilising the best available
expertise, we can benefit from the significant attributes of our current assets; namely, the
Badja gold project in Western Australia and the Georgetown copper project in
Queensland. Mining studies for Badja have commenced and planning for the current field
season at Georgetown is well underway. We look forward to working with Adrian to
advance the Company's projects and add value for shareholders.”
